School Party!

Friday we had a party at school. We went to school in regular clothes and then changed into our costumes for the parade and party. Here we are right before we left for school. I was very excited, and I love my little brother.

Have I told you that we love Miss Kendall?

Rhythm and Rhyme with Costumes!

Did I tell you what Sammy and I were for Halloween yet? I was MINNIE and he was MICKEY! In case you haven't heard, I am completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. If Mommy and Daddy would let me, I would watch it ALL day. I talk about the characters all the time as if they are my best friends (well, they are!). Most days when Mommy gets home I tell her about how they came over to play with me on my swingset or with my blocks. So, when it was time to decide what to be for halloween, the choice was pretty clear. I loved my costume so much that when Mommy brought it home, I was so excited I almost cried. I tried the whole thing on and I said "Oh, thank you Mommy. I look amazing!" My favorite part are the shoes. I slept in them once and I love them so much I would wear them everyday if I could. They even light up when I walk.
Sammy and I got to wear our costumes three times... First up, on Wednesdays we go to our Rhythm and Rhyme class at the library with Kendall. We dance and sing and play with instruments. Everyone wore their costumes and it was really cool to see what everyone chose to be for Halloween. Check Mickey Out!

Here we are with Miss Kendall!

Halloween Week

We made pumpkin cookies to bring to the Blatts since we trick or treat at their house and also to take to our party on Friday night at our neighbor's house. Sammy is not allowed to have sugar yet since he is not one yet-- but he didn't know that. When Bia and Kendall had their backs turned, he grabbed a cookie and starting eating it! You can tell how much he liked it. I laughed so hard... But when they took it away it wasn't pretty!

The Pumpkin Patch, October 2010

Okay, We know how behind we are in our posts again. We are going to have to catch you all up from August through September over the next couple of days. We have a lot of great pictures from our daytime adventures with Kendall and the end of summer. But, FIRST we wanted to share pictures from October. October is my new favorite month! We have pictures from the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, my parade at school, and Halloween to share. Wait til you see how much fun we had this month!

To pick out our pumpkins, we went to Great Country Farms. Isn't it beautiful?

Here I am with Daddy and Sammy looking for the perfect pumpkin.
I found it! I love this one!!!
It was heavy, but I am really strong.

This is the one daddy liked so we got this one too.
Here I am riding the tractor on the way back from getting the pumpkins.
Sammy had the best time on daddy's back. He never cries.

Here I am sliding with Mommy.More Sam...
Climbing the spider net with Mommy...
And jumping on the bouncy hill...
We loved this sign which showed how big horses are in "hands" so we took a picture. Maybe we'll do this someday at our farm and label it with the horses we've had.

Burt Lake... The End

Our final pictures from the North Beach on our final day at the lake this summer. See you next year Burt Lake......

Ernie Lake

On our last day at Burt Lake, we took a boat ride across the lake to the North Beach where there is a spring fed stream that my mommy used to dam up with her friends when she was little and they called it "Ernie Lake". I thought that was really funny since I love Sesame Street. This is me on the boat ride over there. I wanted to sit in the chair by myself! Here is Sammy's face on the boat ride. He rode in his bucket and he smiled, laughed and grinned for the whole ride. He LOVES the boat. A true lake kid, just like me.Here is Sammy playing with Daddy on the North Beach.

A family picture. I've been picking my nose in a lot of family pictures lately. It annoys mommy. I think its funny.
