On a Two Horse Open Sleigh...

In Michigan, at Bia and Pop-pop's country club they had a sleigh ride and dinner. I was very excited and kept singing Jingle Bells but with a "two horse open sleigh" because our sleigh had TWO horses (which apparently there are no pictures of- oops!). Then, after we rode the sleigh, we had yummy pasta (Sam's favorite) and ICE YOUR OWN COOKIES at the club for dinner. Totally DELICIOUS (and yes, I really say that word all the time). Funny Man

Today I thought I'd tell you a little more about my brother. Sammy is such a boy. He is into everything and loves to make a mess at the table with his food. He has seven teeth already (4 top and 3 bottom) so he can eat almost anything. He is off the bottle (Mom says this was WAY easier with him than me). His greatest loves are his blue blanket, canned fruit, pasta and his big sissy (me!) in that order. He also loves bathtime and swimming class. He isn't walking yet, and isn't in a hurry about it since he can go anywhere by crawling or crusing. He doesn't say words yet either, but he does lots of pointing and baby talk and is starting to sign. He is very good with legos and building blocks. His personality is a crack up... Sam thinks he is a total comedian. He smiles all the time (well, except when his teeth hurt) and he is always doing silly things with his bowls and plates to make people laugh. He also likes to pretend to put a pacie in Mommy's mouth and then cracks up at himself. Here are some pictures we picked that we think show him to the fullest. Enjoy!

Snowy Days

Here are some pictures from some of our snow adventures at Burt Lake. We LOVE the winter time up there. This day was warm, sunny and completely gorgeous. Too bad for Sammy he was napping the day away!

Birthday party No. Two!

We had another birthday party in Michigan- this one was a joint party for Sam and my Michigan friend MacKenzie who turned 6. Sammy liked his green cupcakes a little more this time, but he still wasn't totally into them. But I had one AND A HALF! Kenzie got a cake making play dough kit and we all LOVED it. The next generation of burt lake girls: Lila, MacKenzie, Addison and me!
