My Life Jacket

We are getting excited to go to Burt Lake for July 4th and to Green Lake & Burt Lake in August. Here I am trying on my new life jacket. As you can tell, I wasn't so sure about this. And I really wasn't impressed when daddy picked me up by the handle. But I guess I'll have to get used to it if I'm going to be a lake girl.

Baby Pool

My daddy bought me a baby pool this weekend. I thought it was soooo much fun. Can you tell how much I liked it?

I also thought it was funny to hug and kiss mommy when I was all wet....

Talking...

Mom was trying to find some pictures we haven't posted yet and found this one of me talking. By the way, I say "DaDa," "Mama", "Dog" and "Book" now. I can also follow lots of directions like "Sit in your chair" and "Go get a book" and I know the words (even though I don't say them) for my bunny and my blanket and my sippy cup. And I'm also very good at "gentle" when I pet the dogs. Mommy says the cutest is when mommy tells me to "kiss" one of the dogs and I do it. I'm walking everywhere now, and I'm very independent so I do not like to be carried most of the time.

Playground

Sorry we have been so bad at our posts again. Mommy was sick with strep throat last week and has been working very long hours. These pictures are from a really cool park/playground we went to that was near the airport in Saginaw, Michigan when we were flying home from Burt Lake for memorial day weekend. I had the best time playing on all the equipment just like a big girl.
