Bluemont Fair

Last weekend before my daddy left for Newport News, we went to the Bluemont Fair. Grandpa Steve was there too (he came for a visit), but you can't tell b/c he isn't in any pictures. Anyway, I got to go for a pony ride! Lately I have been VERY into the horses, and mom puts me up on Mosby's back when I ask to go "up, up" (I love it up there)- but she never lets him walk with me up there alone. But since they had PONIES at the fair, she let me ride since they are smaller and I am easy to reach (in case I lost my balance). I LOVED IT. Check out my face! It might be time to get my own pony soon...

I also LOVED the goats. I just love all animals. Mommy wanted to post this picture so you can see how cute the outfit is that my aunt annie got me for the fall. The jeans are skinny tapered leg jeans and they are so cute!

My dad is away again for the Army. He is gone for two weeks this time in Newport News. We aren't going to visit because last time the traffic was murderous and my mommy doesn't want to drive it again since she is "more pregnant" (and we'd have to stop all the time to go to the bathroom). By the way, my brother is doing well in there and my mom is feeling fine.

Me and Owen

My friend Owen came over a few weekends ago with his mom Jenni for dinner while Owen's dad Andrew was out with his guy friends. We had a great time. Owen choked on a piece of chicken and got sick, though- so we had to take a bath. Here we are being silly:

splashing..

And Jenni read to us right before we went to bed.

The last of Burt Lake

I love playing in Marty's (our next door neighbor) yard. Here I am playing bubbles and cornhole (naked with shoes).

Dutch Oven and Playground

In Michigan, the Dutch Oven is everyone's favorite old time bakery and its very close to our cottage. This was my first trip. Mommy says next year I can have a donut- they looked so good. This year I had some cinnamon bread, which is what they are famous for- and it was awesome!

After we ate, we went to the playground behind the library. It was really fun.Check out my face in this one!
