My Bike!

Here is my new Bike that Bia and Pop-pop got for me at the lake. It is a "Strider" which is a bike without pedals. I can walk it, ride it, and I am learning to balance. This way, when I'm ready to pedal, I'll be ready to ride- hopefully without training wheels involved. We heard about it from our friend Sally, who is a mom of four little boys who all learned to ride a bike on it. I LOVE it and I feel like a big kid on it.

I let Sammy try it out too...

More Burt Lake

More from dinner...

At our family dinner at Bia & Pop-pops new club, I ate a REAL hot fudge sundae for the first time. It was the best thing that has ever happened to me I think. I love doing the hand pile- here with mommy and Pop pop.

Bia & Pop-pop's Country Club

When we were at the lake we went out for a family dinner in our fancy clothes to Bia and Pop-pop's new country club and we took some pictures. Here are some of the best ones:

Let ME do it!

So, I act like I was born on a lake. I wanted to do everything myself.... especially things I saw other people do. I had almost no fear around the water (although I did say that I didn't want to ski until I was bigger). Here are some examples:
Here I am with my parents jumping on the water trampoline. This was my very favorite lake activity. I would swim all the way out to it with Mommy and Daddy and they would lift me up and we would jump and jump. Here I am tubing with Mommy. Mommy says this is a big deal for a two year old, but I just thought it was FUN! This is me rowing with Daddy and Mommy. I did not like it when they rowed because I can do it myself!

Look who's driving...

More fun with Owen

Here we are riding a horsey together at breakfast one morning

Owen and I had most of our meals at this picnic table on the deck. We had big conversations and solved the world's problems as you can tell.

After a long hard day on the lake, this is how Owen and I relaxed. We had matching kid chairs (Owen's is for Sammy when he's old enough) and we chilled out watching Mickey Mouse Clubhosue. We both LOVE Mickey.

FISHING

Here I am with daddy fishing for trout. Mommy and sammy at the fishing place.

Here is our loot!

Our fish in the bucket. Owen and I touched them a few times. They were slimey.

Sammy played with this doggie while we fished.

Fish Hatchery

We went to the Oden Fish Hatchery with our parents. This place is so cool. They have lots of displays to teach us kids about fish. We saw HUGE trout, fed them, and walked around through the grounds. It was sooooo much fun to feed the fish. They only let kids catch fish on Saturdays, so we stopped at another fish farm later, and those pictures will be our next post. This is a glass they put in so you can actually see the anatomy of a stream. That's a real fresh water stream, not an aquarium!

Running the pathways...The whole group (minus Andrew who was taking the picture)Owen and me checking out the flowers...

Throwing Rocks with Owen

Our families went out to dinner to Hoppies on Burt Lake and while we were waiting for our food we went down to the lake to throw rocks. As you can see, Owen and I had a blast....

BURT LAKE

We have so many pictures to share from our vacation at the lake! We don't even know where to start. My best friend Owen visited with his parents Jenni and Andrew from Colorado. We haven't seen each other in SEVEN whole months (which is around 1/4 of our lives!) but it was like no time had passed at all. We knew each other right away and we played so well together. He is my very best friend and I miss him so much. Check us out on the hammock!

We invited Sammy too.
Here we are playing at the water table on the deck.
Here we are kayaking with our daddys.

Stay tuned...
