Brooke's Birthday Party

My friend Brooke had her 2nd birthday party at this great place called Monkey Business. Our other best friend Greta was there too. The three of us grew up together at my school since we were little babies (you might remember pictures of me as a fish and Brooke as a strawberry on our first halloween). Brooke left our school a few months before me, and Greta's mom just had a new baby boy (we think yesterday but haven't heard yet for sure) so she is gone from there now too... but we (and our moms) have all managed to stay friends. You can see from the pictures how much we love each other. Brooke is coming to my birthday party tomorrow and I can't wait to see her!

Last days with Mommy Home

As most of you know, my mommy went back to work on April 19th. After we got back from Florida, we had 3 more wonderful weeks together and mommy took lots of pictures. My mommy says its was the best gift ever to spend so much time with us kids. She misses us terribly now that she is back to work.... and we really miss her too. But Bia and Pop pop and my Grandpa-pa Steve (who came for three whole days all by himself!) have taken good care of us over the last 2 weeks. Bia is staying for the rest of the month of May, and then our nanny Kendall starts on June 1st.
We'll try to get all these pictures from the end of maternity leave up today... we need to get caught up because TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY and I'm having a party this weekend so there will be a ton of new pictures to post.

Me & My Sammy

I love to play with Sammy so much. I think he is MINE, and my mommy says I am in his face too much. But I just love to hold him... (this by the way is my cheesy camera smile that I do now when mom tells me to smile- it always involves closing my eyes for some reason).... And help him with his pacie....

And hold his hand.....

And kiss him....And tell him stories....My mommy is always telling me he is not a toy-- but she just doesn't understand how much he loves me. See....!!

Egg Hunting

We also went on an egg hunt at Ida Lee Park the weekend before easter. It was a pretty big festival with face painting, balloons, and ride on toys. My grandpa Bert was there that weekend. I love him- he is very fun.

They had a very cool moonbounce for little kids- while playing in this I came running over to mommy and daddy and said "My having FUN!"

This is my weak easter basket. My mom forgot to bring one for me... (my dad says this is not his responsibility since he is Jewish :)... at least my grandpa Bert had this hankerchief.

Here I am hunting with daddy... I found two eggs. There were way too many people and not enough eggs. And some of the parents were a little nuts about it. But I still had fun!

EASTER

Here are (finally) our easter pictures. We had an amazing day as a family on easter.

The easter bunny brought me eggs. I hunted for my eggs on my front porch and I found them ALL- all by myself.

Daddy and Sammy hung out and watched me.

Here are our easter baskets. Sammy got a monkey and a hat. My basket was WAY cooler- it had play dough, stickers, squiggly straws, and even some gardening tools and play bugs.

Sammy wore a sear sucker suit.

I learned how to smell flowers in Florida at the botanical garden and now whereever we go- if there are flowers, I MUST smell them. I loved these and kept saying they were purple and pink over and over and over.
