Burt Lake!

Sorry we didn't post more birthday pictures- but most everyone saw them on Facebook anyways. We went to Burt Lake for memorial day for a work weekend. I helped my mom and bia clean out all of our closets at the cottage and we donated 30 years worth of old stuff to good will. Daddy and Captain Guy put the docks in at Cheney's house and our house. We also cleaned all the deck furniture for the summer and did some weeding. We still managed to have fun though. Here's me swinging on Marty's swing in the yard.

I'm not sure what to say about my party. We had Pony rides, presents, cupcakes, and all my friends came to visit. I missed my nap, but was happy and giggly the whole time. I've never had so much fun. Here are a few pictures, and we'll post more tomorrow.

More from Birthday Week

Grandpa Steve and Mimi got me a little mermaid car. They sent my toys early so I got to open this early on my birthday. I love it so much-- I am riding it and pushing it all the time- here I am on it on Friday while the parents & Bia got ready for the big party. Also- thought you might like to see a picture of me walking from earlier this week. I am all over the place now... I even think I can run (but I always fall down when I try).

Happy Birthday to Me!

I have so much to show you! As most of you know, I turned ONE on May 7th. Mom and dad can't believe I'm one already. I had a big party on Saturday, but those pictures will come later. There are a ton of them and we are still trying to sort through. We have some other pictures from the real big day and my birthday week to show you.
Here I am in my Birthday Girl outfit- I wore this to school on my big day. At school, all the teachers and other kids made cards for me. They are too cute.

Also, I ate my first taste of real sugar on my actual birthday. My Nannabel made a special blueberry cake just for me and sent it in the mail. She made sure it arrived on my birthday. As you may be aware, she has her own restaurant in Cincy, and desserts are her specialty, so this was no ordinary cake. I thought it was so yummy that I made growling noises while I was eating it.

Dandelions

Our lawn had an outbreak of dandelions. Bia, of course, used it as a photo op. My aunt abbie from savannah got me this dress. Isn't it cute?

I wasn't really in a picture taking mood (for once), but I wanted to show you b/c my dad picked out my dress. My mom says it looks like all of her hippie dresses from college.
