My mommy and I made cookies last week. I wasn't so sure about the mixer until mommy showed me how to lick the beaters.... then all I said was "more, more, more!" for pretty much the rest of the day until the mixer was stashed away.

My Sleepover with Owen
Two weekends ago, I had my very first sleepover. My friend Owen came to visit while his parents ran a 1/2 marathon. We had so much fun! Here are just a few pictures, but I should warn you- mom is posting the best pictures from the weekend tomorrow. Here we are right before bed in our PJs with daddy reading us bedtime stories.

My backpack
As you know, I have always been independent and now I insist on carrying my backpack on my back to and from school everyday. It's actually very small, but as you can see- its still bigger than me. It doesn't even matter if its heavy- I throw a total trantrum if mommy tries to carry it. Sometimes it knocks me over, but I don't care as long as I get to carry it.

My Silverware
I'm very good with my silverware now. I don't like to eat as much with my hands and I think its fun to eat with silverware. Here I am cracking up over jello- which is very hard to "catch" on the spoon. And here I am trying to convince Bax that he should use silverware too!

Chores
Mommy & Daddy are always joking about how everyone gets put to work at our farm. But for me, its one of the BEST parts of the day. I LOVE to feed the horses. I insist on carrying the buckets (even filled with grain) from the barn to the pasture everyday. I will not let anyone else carry them. I also love to fill the horses' fence feeders and I always say "Cereal" since that is clearly what we are feeding them.
I can only carry one when it is filled with Cereal:
Then we dump the cereal in the fence feeders and watch the horses eat:And then, when they are empty, I can carry BOTH buckets back to the barn!

I love Spaghetti
Enough said. Oh, and mom said I have to tell everyone that we are growing my bangs out- otherwise people will start begging for a haircut from these pictures.

Not a Baby Anymore..
Mom says in these pictures you can really tell that I'm a big girl now. Here I am coloring at my new table (from Ikea for $25 and then painted red by my dad). My outfit is from my dad's uncle Gary's girlfiend Nancy. She brings the best clothes!

My Big Girl Bed
So, we are getting ready for Sam and he needs my crib. Since I sleep on a cot at daycare, my parents thought I MIGHT be fine in a big girl bed. I have been sleeping in it for over a week now and I'm going great! Going down for naps on the weekends is a little rough, but I am GREAT at nighttime. After all, when its time to sleep, its time to sleep! We'll get some pictures of me in it soon- but here it is! I also got a new reading chair so Sam can have the glider. I love it because its big enough for me and my mommy to sit on together- even with her big belly. My daddy has been working very hard on the crown and paint in Sam's room. We'll post when its all done.
