On Tuesday Bia took me to story hour at the Purcellville Library for 2-4 year olds. I was very good and sat quietly but was a little overwhelmed by all the big kids I didn't know. I didn't pay much attention to the stories (which, coincidentally, were all about having a new baby in the family) until the end when there was a big dog in the story. That one I liked. My favorite part, though, was afterwards when we went to the book section for kids my age and I got to read so many new books. We stayed there for over an hour. I LOVE BOOKS!

Airplane Museum
So, my bia and pop pop are here and now that I'm a big girl they have been taking me to do really fun big girl things. I haven't been to school ALL week! My bia likes to dress me up and take me places. Her mission is to make sure I wear everything in my closet. On Monday we went to the Airplane Museum (my mommy is not really sure what it is called). I LOVED being out and about and visiting with all the people and even seeing some of the airplanes that weren't far away. I was VERY good.

Purcellville Pool
We have been going to the Purcellville pool a lot since we found it a few weeks ago. We don't have the best pictures b/c you can't tell how great this pool is- it has tons of waterslides (even one shaped like a duck that I can go down) and a mushroom waterfall and hippos and turtles to ride on. But here I am playing with the water sprouts: Me during lunch. I tried very hard to pick up this pole, which holds up a roof. My parents and bia and pop popo were cracking up.

Last Burt pics from July
These are the last pictures we have from our 4th of July trip. I outgrew my old backpack so my mom & daddy got me a new one. Do you like it? I love it and we went for a couple of long walks. Daddy even ran some with me in it and I thought that was really funny. This is my frog towel at the lake.
Mom is bummed we didn't get a "Burt Lake Kids" picture this year... but we'll definitely make sure it gets arranged next year... next year with the new Nolan twins and my new baby brother or sister, there will be around 15 kids under the age of 8 on the Landing!

Bubbles!
My new favorite thing- and word- is "Bubbles!". At school, we blow bubbles all the time and my teachers are always telling Mommy how much I love them. Well, now she has seen it for herself! At the lake our next door neighbor & friend Marty has the greatest bubble wands ever that make HUGE bubbles. I can play with them for hours. I now recognize bubbles in my books and on my videos and yell "Bubble" at the top of my lungs everytime I see them. Here I am enjoying the fun.

JULY 4th! Playing on the Lake and my Water Table!
Here we all are playing on the lake on July 4th. Below is a picture of my mommy (pregnant) skiing behind the Cheney's mastercraft. She wasn't supposed to do it so don't tell her doctors! I'm mad my little brother or sister went water skiing before me!Here I am rowing the raft boat with my handlers. It was really fun... when I could get my mind off how much I HATE my life jacket.
By far the best part of the weekend for me was my water table. My Bia bought this for me and it was here waiting for me when we arrived. It was the best thing ever. I also had a baby pool on the deck and every day I played with these toys for hours. I just took the water toys back and forth from the table to the pool. My parents are convinced I'll never have ADD because I can sure concentrate. No joke- for 2 1/2 hours without a break. One day I even missed lunch and didn't even notice (neither did anyone else).
I love to play with my daddy's baseball hats. Here I am hanging out with mom & dad on the deck (sitting on the tube) playing with them. I think its hilarious to put the hat on me, then on mom, then on dad, and over and over...

Oden Fish Hatchery
There is a really great fish hatchery in Oden, which is right up the road from us. Every saturday in the summer they have fishing for kids. They supply the poles and the kids get to fish for big trout (and throw them back). I went with my friends Mason and MacKenzie Cheney and their dad Guy and grandpa Stew plus my mom, dad, and Bia. It was so neat to watch all the kids fishing. I can't wait until I"m old enough to fish (my daddy can't either!).

Old News and New Pictures
Hi Everybody! We are really sorry its been so long since we posted. Its just we've been so busy.... We're pretty sure everyone has heard our big news by now- I am going to have a little brother or sister- due Christmas Eve. My mommy is about 16 weeks along and has felt great this pregnancy. She says its really different from me when she was throwing up everyday. She is even ready to change her "I hate being pregnant" mantra. She thinks its a boy b/c she feels SO different but we will find out sometime in August!
We went to Burt Lake for July 4th and had an amazing time. My uncle Dean and aunt Deb were there, along with Bia & Pop Pop and Robbie, Travis & Heather. The weather was cold the first few days, but then it was perfect over the weekend. Below are a few pictures to start from the colder days, but we have TONS to share over the next couple of days. We were sad to leave, but we are very lucky b/c we get to go back in August!
